'Brokeback Mountain' Canceled In Utah

Topics: Life Issues

A movie theater owned by Utah Jazz owner Larry Miller has abruptly changed its screening plans and decided not to show the film "Brokeback Mountain." The film was supposed to open Friday at the Megaplex at Jordan Commons in Sandy, a suburb of Salt Lake City, but has instead been pulled from the schedule.

Gays are disappointed, but pulling it is meant to send young people a message that, just maybe, there is something wrong with the film. So it's looking more like only Hollywood and their secular and liberal ilk think that modern day John Waynes should be going around lusting after the backsides of their fellow cowboys! We normal straight folks still prefer films that have some form of legitimacy, at least in the world of sex - sex that is intended for procreation and intimacy between a man and a woman. After all, if all bulls were only interested in other bulls, we wouldn't have any steak after a single generation, and then of course, there would be no need for cowboys, regardless of their sexual orientation.
