British Attempt To Counter Radical Islam With Slightly Less Radical Islam

British authorities have "managed to trip over their own feet several times" since the London bombings last July, but the worst missteps came recently when the British Home Office announced that it would spend almost half a million pounds to have "moderate" Islamic intellectuals tour Britain in a "roadshow" (read - sideshow for Islamic propagandists) to counter the radicals. What sounded like a great idea, wasn't.

For this very delicate mission, the loony authorities turned to, "A raiding party of fake moderates, some of whom have alarming records of advocating jihadism." The speakers included...

Responding to Islamic radicals by "trotting out allegedly-tame" but equally wild terrorist-supporting radicals for a roadshow meant to tame the Islamothugs, only makes sense to a society hell-bent on not stepping on any political toes, even if they belong to people that want to kill you. Yet, here in the U.S. haven't we essentially done the same thing as the Brits ?
