Baby rescued from lake in Brazil

A little baby girl, aged just two months old has been rescued (video at link) from a lake in Brazil.
The rescuer heard what sounded like the cry of a cat from inside of a plastic bag. He went to fetch security and a cameraman who was working in the area caught the rescue on film.
The baby is safe and well and is being held in a local hospital whilst the police search for the mother of the child.
I find it extraordinary that someone has treated this tiny baby as those she is to be drowned like a little kitten. However, by the Providence of God, her cries were heard and she now has a chance to live.
