Many Sunni Muslims diverting anger from Israel to Iran
Topics: IraqNancy A. Youssef, writing at Knight Ridder, says that since the results from Iraq's national assembly election trickled out this week showing that Shiite Muslims - many backed by neighboring Iran - would dominate the new parliament, Sunni Muslims have begun to ask: Is Israel really Iraq's enemy, or is it neighboring Iran?
Iranian support for the insurrection in Iraq became crystal clear this past July when munitions with Iranian manufacture signatures were discovered by British troops to be used by Iraqi insurrectionists against the British tanks in the Basra region. The same materials have been also been used to kill countless Iraqis.
