Here is a good reason to remain in Iraq and finish the job
Topics: War on TerrorThe Counterterrorism blog has a translation of a statement made by the Syrian Abu Musab Al-Siri released to Jihadi web sites just after the London bombings. It was a very chilling statement at the time because it was setting out the agenda for prospective terrorists all around the world.
Al-Siri stated that "we are at war with France". He was telling his operatives that they were to strike at the heart of France, as well as other countries including Australia. I suspect that the release of this communication was a coded message, urging the prospective terrorists to get ready to move because the time was coming for an all out war.
Al-Siri is the major suspect for the deadly Madrid train bombings. He was captured in Pakistan on October 31. He is also the Al Qaeda leader who has influence over the actions of Al Zarqawi. If he was using this communication as a signal for prospective terrorists in Australia to get ready for a strike then he has failed in that mission because his operatives have been taken into custody.
When considering the transcript of this message, perhaps we need to take a second look at the cause of the race riots in Paris, from the point of view that the rioting was prolonged. The poor amongst the immigrant population make a good target for stirrers and troublemakers. They make good fodder for those who want to bring down the French government. Keeping in mind that this man stated "we are at war with France", one has to wonder whether he helped to orchestrate the outcome of the riots.
