HarryTho 12/08 Natalee Holloway Commentary

Topics:

We've discussed scams, lately, so just for the sake of discussion, lets continue on that topic, briefly, before going on to other related inputs.

This evening we'll review an actual death scam. For those readers who may have never read a diplomatic note, this should be a treat. In order to protect the innocent and the guilty, I have removed sensitive identification information from the text of the note (Most are guilty!).

Note no. 04/99 The Embassy of XXXXX presents its compliments to the Department of State and wish to refer to the latter an enclosed copy of a correspondence from the Consulate General of XXXXX in Honolulu, Hawaii concerning serious allegations against a US citizen, Mr. CULPRIT.

As noted from the correspondence, Mr. CULPRIT, a previous wealthy resident of Honolulu, had allegedly collaborated with XXXXX citizens and authorities to obtain fraudulent documentation to claim US $10 million life insurance from his insurance company. The XXXXX informant who was part of the scam alleged that another XXXXX citizen, DOCTOR DEATH, had requested him to have Mr. CULPRIT's Entry Permit endorsed insinuating entry into XXXX. He further related the involvement of a doctor, some police officials, and Government employees to falsify a death certificate in favor of Mr. CULPRIT to claim the insurance money.

The current whereabouts of Mr. CULPRIT is unknown, however he is believed to have fled to XXXX where he owns a private island. Incidentally, his wife has also moved out of their US $5 million home in Honolulu last June and is believed to have either joined her husband or is residing in a US STATE where their daughter attends University.

The nature of the case is severe as it involves a large insurance claim allegedly perpetuated through fraudulent means by the principle benefactor, Mr. CULPRIT. It also involves various XXXXX citizens and authorities who facilitated and abetted Mr. CULPRIT in the fraudulent process to claim the insurance money.

The Embassy had referred the matter to the Commissioner of Police in XXXXX for review and subsequent investigations and it is recommended likewise for the Department of State to refer the same appropriate US authorities to undertake pertinent investigations into their allegations.

For the authorities purposes, the following is Mr. CULPRIT's date of birth, previous address and passport's details:

DOB: KNOWN
prior resident address: KNOWN
US Passport number XXXXXXXXX, Issued 03 June 1993 - Place
XXXX Passport number XXXXXXX, Expired 16 August 1998

The Embassy will update the Department of State of the latest should information become available, and it would appreciate the same from the investigating authorities.

The Embassy of XXXXX avails itself of this opportunity to renew to the Department of State of its highest consideration.

The FBI and the apppropriate attorney generals were informed of the matter. Communicatons with these agencies occurred. Their response resembled what we have experienced within the case of Natalee Holloway's disappearance.
I would post the contact inormation for Doctor Death; however, I fear the authorities would charge me with contributing to international fraud of the insurance industry. Doctor Death is real. His motto: Why work for a living when you can rejoice in luxury after your death!

Moving on to actual news, Aruban Justice-minister Rudy Croes (MEP) gave the public prosecutor (OM) till December 17th to solve the internal problems.

The conflict between chief district attorney Karin Janssen and Attorney General Theresa Croes-Fernandes Perna has been going on for six months already. The minister is now threatening with taking measures against the chief district attorney, because the Attorney General (PG) is her superior.

One of the reasons for the conflict is the way the media was informed in the Holloway-case. Janssen, who is a media-officer in the Netherlands, is of the opinion that it was not professionally done. The conflict escalated when Janssen was interviewed by the Nova. The OM then sent Janssen's cellular telephone number to all the local and international media that was present. "Now that she has spoken to one journalist, she might as well speak to all of them", said OM-media information official Mariaine Croes, daughter of the Attorney General.

At that moment, Janssen was up to her ears in the investigation on the disappeared Natalee Holloway and got in trouble because of this. It was decided shortly after that the OM would only give written information on this case. Another reason for the conflict is that Janssen is of the opinion that the Attorney General is too much involved with current investigations instead of working on policy level. She resents at the PG interfering with the case of two suspicious MEP-supporters that made anonymous threats by phone from the Government office.

The PG dismissed this case without consulting Janssen. Former chief of police, Jan van der Straten also clashed with minister Croes about this.

In a "what took them so long to do it" story, from Aruba Truth we have, "Aruba Selects Spokesman For North America."

A coalition of groups announced Friday the appointment of Steve Cohen to act as spokesperson to North American media, in regards to the Natalee Holloway disappearance case.

AHATA and the ATA appointed Cohen to deal with all media relations concerning the case which still commands media coverage in the United States. Mr. Cohen has been part of the Strategic Communications Task Force since its creation in June. He has a full knowledge of the case and is an associate of the Strategic Message Design Group that has served in an advisory capacity to both ATA and AHATA.

The goal of this action is to coordinate the responses of the private and public sectors to North American media.

Steve Cohen commenting on his appointment said, "It is my hope that we can overcome the inaccuracies and distortions about Aruba that have emerged with the Holloway case. It is time that the American public gets the truth about Aruba, as a safe and hospitable destination, where the rule of law is firmly in place."

Next, from AOL News - Official Statement From the Government of Aruba Supporting the Candlelight Vigil for Natalee Holloway:

The people of Aruba and their government warmly and wholeheartedly support the candlelight vigil being held this evening in the United States for Natalee Holloway.

The people of Aruba join those at the vigil in spirit this evening with Ms. Holloway in our hearts, in our thoughts, and in our prayers.

More discussion on these and other items tomorow.

As reported on my local news, the candlelight vigil held at the state capital in Montgomery, al on December 8 was to remember all the missing children in the state of AL. It was reported there are forty.

Harry,
Your death scam and a huge life insurance policy in theory is great but in reality this doesn't happen. If a person can afford the premiums of $10M life insurance policy then $10M is chump change. Death with in 2 yrs. of origination causes red flags espicially if its not from natural causes. Also the payout from the inurance co after their investigation make take years to complete.
The focus should be on JVS.

Posted by: Shivas at December 9, 2005 9:48 AM

@shivas, is not speculation it happens. If you get to read a form is that if the insured person gets into an accident or get killed they can get the money. If you have any kind of antecedents like and you died from that then the money is less or nothing. That is why I mention in my post, If ever they get a dead certificate and the coroner wants to help the family he can mention that, at the moment that the person committed the act, was not in control of herself. No idea if a Dr from Aruba will issue that document. Too much responsibility.
So I do not have any idea what Joran has to do with this???.I do not think he was upset. Natalee’s friends saw her after she was with Joran.
Monsieur Harry,
Do you have any news from the FBI?
Merci,
Antoinette

Mademoiselle Antoinette:

The only news from the FBI is their announcement:

http://www.fbi.gov/mostwant/seekinfo/holloway.htm

What I interpret from this announcement is: "If you happen to see this girl, give us a call when you get a chance."

It would appear that the FBI believe Natalee Holloway is alive and on her own accord.

With Aloha,

Harry

Hi Harry,
Just want to let you know I have appreciated all of your posts about this case.

In relation to the vigil, this was posted on EWV last night:
By SAMIRA JAFARI
Associated Press Writer
December 08, 2005

Two glass bowls were set out for what Riley called a "love offering" to help the Holloways in their search. She said the money would not be counted at the meeting and the family could "do with that what they choose."
http://www.riehlworldview.com/test_blog/2005/12/344.html

Several posters wanted to know why money wasn't collected for all the other families with missing children.

I figured that you or your readers may have an answer for their questions harry.
Here are the first two lines of the AP article:

Alabama First Lady Patsy Riley promised the family of missing teenager Natalee Holloway that the state will always support the search for her, and accused the Aruban government of turning its back on the family.

"To know that another country turned its back," Riley said, her voice breaking with emotion during a candlelit prayer meeting Thursday night for missing children. "The people of Alabama will never turn their back."

I would hate to have an international incident over this. Think that we are walking a tighrope on this. Do you think any from the State Department will talk to the Governors of these two states and give them a little "briefing" on international affairs?

In reading, this question was also asked of an aruban poster:

the last couple of times they interviewed mr. mansur he appeared to be in Miami. I wonder why he is there?
As Dan had stated, Jossy was blackballed from the U.S. because of moneylaundering connections. There are those that believe that his attaching himself to the twittys was a ploy to get them to use their influence with the white house to get himself a visa to enter the states.
In the past he had several businesses in Florida, and he still owns property there. Well it seems to have worked, and he was granted a one year visa "for medical reasons"
Realize this, as Dutch Citizens, Arubans can travel freely to the U.S., the need for a visa is "waived" but not in his case, he had been trying to get a visa for some time. and it would appear that this case was his ticket in.]
http://www.riehlworldview.com/test_blog/2005/12/344.html

What made me stop when reading was the phrase: "use their influence with the white house".

Harry, what influence in the White House?

Holy cow, this is the most concoluded and complicated thing i have ever seen.

Posted by: Little Bo Peep at December 9, 2005 12:40 PM

Dear Little Bo Peep:

Secretary of State Rice grew up in Birmingham, Alabama. Her Excellency is Alabama's connection in the White House.

Thank you for the update on the vigil.

All I can add to your post is that Governor Riley's future political tenure is questionable. I suspect all this support for the Twittys may be motivated in order to ensure his political survival. Obviously, the other 39 families associated with the vigil had no clout in Alabama politics.

With Aloha,

Harry

So, NOW we know why the Twits have been saying thousands upon thousands of times about "going in and out of consciousness"..........."drugged"......

Could it be that if there is suicide involved that insurance money cannot be collected? But, if they have been "impaired" in some way outside of his or her control, well then..........Ah'll be darn!

A very good friend of mine attended the prayer vigil last night in Montgomery, AL. I will inquire as to whether or not the post stating that 2 glass bowls were placed at the vigil to collect love offerings is indeed correct information. I find that hard to believe since the vigil was to remember all the missing children from AL not just Natalee. I would like to know the truth though and will report back.

Posted by: jewels at December 9, 2005 4:14 PM

After reading the entire AP article by Samira Jafari re candlelight vigil, there is absolutely NO mention of two bowls collecting love offerings! Where did this info really come from? Please clarify. Otherwise it appears to be another false statement that only serves to bash the Holloways!

Posted by: jewels at December 9, 2005 4:32 PM

jewels, perhaps you should read the article again.

The statement about the glass bowls for donations is in paragraph 6

I have AP article in front of me in black and white not Riehl.

Posted by: jewels at December 9, 2005 5:45 PM

So do I. From al.com

Read it again. Paragraph 6. Below the advertisement.

looks like selective reading in the twitty camp. Fourty families were invited, 4 showed up. Good for the ones who stayed home. The money grubbing in the twitty camp has got to stop somewhere.

Posted by: mustymark at December 9, 2005 6:17 PM

THEY ARE DISGUSTING

http://tinyurl.com/dgvnq

..."Holloway's mother, Beth Twitty, and her stepfather, Jug Twitty, attended the prayer meeting at the Gov.'s Mansion along with two dozen friends from the 18-year-old's hometown of Mountain Brook, a suburb of Birmingham. At least four other families of missing children also attended the meeting."...

Two glass bowls were set out for what Riley called a "love offering" to help the Holloways in their search. She said the money would not be counted at the meeting and the family could "do with that wha
what they choose."
