Chinese Authorities Confirm 10 Year Old Girl Has Bird Flu
Topics: Health IssuesChinese authorities have confirmed that a 10-year-old girl has bird flu, and are mystified as the area she lives in, Ziyuan County, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, China - is free of infected birds.
Although the article mentions using Tamiflu, as we've previously reported, they can't count on it to be effective.
And a Vietnamese doctor with experience in treating avian flu says Tamiflu is useless against the H5N1 virus.
