Charity stops its work in streets of Cronulla
Topics: Understanding IslamOne of the consequences of the riotous behaviour in the Cronulla region has been the withdrawal of the services of a local charity for homeless youth.
The charity provides food and blankets for those who have nowhere to live, and during the past two weeks rocks and other acts of violence towards the charity volunteers has caused the charity to withdraw its services until everything settles down.
Care for Street Kids Australia has been providing clothing, blankets and food to homeless youth in Sydney and Wollongong for the past 13 years. The reference to Macquarie Fields is that of a riot among young people of aboriginal origin who rioted because of pent up frustrations over a number of issues. So it is worth noting that the aborigines did not attack the charity van, but the Islamics have not been so kind. The charity had stopped its operations in Cronulla and surrounding areas after rocks and bottles were thrown at its delivery buses over the past two weeks ...
The charity helps more than 140 people in the Sutherland area, but Mr Rasmussen said it was now too dangerous for his volunteers to carry out their work there.
"My volunteers won't go there and I fully back them - I won't have them getting hurt...
... the charity had never experienced this kind of hostility before - not even in Macquarie Fields during the riots there earlier this year.

Please note, my additional source has the information regarding the incident at St. Joseph the Worker school. The report indicates that a group of Lebanese Islamists abused the parents of the children earlier in the evening (before the shots rang out).
This morning I heard the news that a Uniting Church in the suburb of Auburn has been set alight. No guessing that the culprits are more than likely Lebanese Islamists. The Church is located close to the Auburn Mosque. (the blaze would not have been the work of the Jews because in Sydney we have an excellent relationship with the Jews of Sydney - they were the first to offer condolences when someone took a match to St. Patrick's Cathedral in Parramatta that destroyed an old building.)
