CAIR And ACLU Filing Of FOIA On NSA Wiretaps: Twin Supporters Of Jihad

Topics: War on Terror

And of course we should be mentioning the New York Times in the same breath, when it comes to supporting America's enemies. The Left has clearly failed to realize that we are at war! Together with the rest of the MSM, the "Mainstream Media Continues It's Operations Toward US Destruction."

First the New York Times came out with a Christmas present for al-Qaeda by going public on the NSA leak about our surveillance of international phone calls of suspected terrorists.

Then, the ACLU provided the wrapping paper by acting to gut the NSA program through the filing of multiple Freedom of Information Act requests over President Bush's executive order for warrantless electronic surveillance and physical searches of persons within this country that are conversing with terrorists on international calls. Then, in the ultimate irony, CAIR - an organization with known terrorist ties, joined with the ACLU in wanting all of the details released.

With this series of events in focus, it's easy to understand what brought FrontPage Magazine team to their article entitled "The New York Times-ACLU War on National Security." Just why the NYT and the ACLU is motivated to help America's enemies bring terrorism to our shores isn't clear to me, although CAIR's motivations are more easily understood - it IS a terrorist organization!

CAIR and the ACLU have partnered in the past, including a lawsuit filed to force US companies to allow Muslims to pray 5 times/day while on the job, and also to fight against border security. CAIR was once known as the Islamic Association for Palestine and has previously been identified by FBI counterterrorism chiefs as a front-group for the terrorist group Hamas.

So although these most recent events aren't new, they are indeed more destructive to our national security and the very freedoms that the ACLU and the NYT claim to espouse. If you are not talking to terrorists on international calls, then not only are you not being monitored, you have nothing to worry about in the first place.

Only terrorists and their supporters should be alarmed, and they are - the NYT, the ACLU, and CAIR!
