Apple Computer Hands Out Password to Kevin Costner's Stolen Laptop
Topics: TechnologyAren't we told that the people with our information will guard that information? Aren't governments, corporations and businesses suppose to protect our "privacy rights"?
However, apparently, if someone steals your Apple laptop computer, all the thief has to do is to call Apple, and claim that they have forgotten the password. And Apple then just hands out a new password so the thief can access your data. And even if you're Kevin Costner, you're not safe from the "gift of your password" to the thief from Apple.
