Why do women make potentially good suicide bombers

Suicide attacks continue to be conducted by Chechnyan and Palestinian women, but also began, even prior to 2004, to be seen in rather unexpected countries such as Iraq. There has even been one or more thwarted attack in Morocco. Moreover, an FBI report has previously expressed concern over the forming of al-Qaeda female units.
Now the Counterterrorism blog has a good take on the reason why the mullahs and terrorist handlers have been calling for women to sacrifice themselves in the jihad. They are useful because that shapeless garment, as well as their sensibilities about being searched, means that it is easy to hide their lethal weapon that is strapped to their bodies.
So, why are women successful as suicide bombers?
One-third of Chechnyan bombers have been female, women have a higher success rate because it's more difficult to inspect their clothing, and Palestinian women bombers have been responsible for 80 deaths. But Iraqi women haven't, to date, participated in high numbers - the arrested woman Amman bomber would have been only the third.
And although reason's for using women as suicide bombers is interesting, the real story may be the intelligence that can possibly be gained from "questioning" the female "attempted bomber" in Amman.

The Sunni woman who has been arrested because she is the fourth bomber had relatives living in the notorious Salt area of Jordan. This area is well known for its terrorist activities. It seems that the woman had contacted her sister and other relatives who live in the Salt district.Other related readings:
