Tornado Man Catches Twister on Tape (Video)
Topics: Natural Disasters
Iowans are supposed to know what to do when a tornado hits their town and it doesn't involve standing outside with a camera. Nevertheless, I'm in awe of the video below caught on tape by Jeremiah Nance. A twister ripped through his town, destroying his neighbor's homes, and Nance captured the whole event. He could have been killed and, judging from his reaction, he realized the danger after the twister blew past his house.

I haven't seen a tornado in about 10 years. I stood outside for 45 minutes that night waiting in hopes one would be close enough for me to see. No luck though, although I'm sure others wish they wouldn't have been so close.
