The 'Muslim Riots' In Paris - Muslims Being Muslims, And Media Doing What They Do Best
Topics: Understanding Islam
In rioting that Robert Spencer refers to as the "fruit of the immigration-without-assimilation policy the French have pursued so thoughtlessly for decades" - as detailed in Bat Ye'or's Eurabia, "A police union spokesman" said on Sunday that a "Paris suburb is seeing 'civil war.'"" Let's repeat here what the police union spokesman called the rioting - "a civil war." Not a description one uses casually or to describe "boys just being boys."
And they are in a sixth night of Muslim rioting, and we're now talking about one hundred fires (caption under above image)! And the AP frames the story as rioting that "highlighted the division between France's big cities and their poor satellites where disenchantment thrives." The Muslims are "disenchanted" and poor, and that's suppose to be everyone's fault but there own? And for that they carry on like sick animals, rioting for what is now the sixth day, and there's one hundred fires burning in the city!!!
The Islamic-apologist media continues to amaze me with their "poor sinned-against Muslims routines. And it just doesn't matter which media source you read, one's just as bad as the other. Take a look at the Washington Post article.
The way that the Washington Post reports the story, you'd think that the Muslim youths rioting and terrorizing the streets of Paris with Molotov cocktails and the torching of cars, were simply Muslims "fighting" for their rights - apparently the right to commit crimes, run from police, torch vehicles, destroy property - even a primary school, and injure their fellow citizens. Notice the use of term "street fighters" in the WAPO story, instead of rioting Muslim youth, Muslim youth, young hoodlums, urban terrorists, or something similar denoting the true nature of the crime (see above image)
PARIS, Nov. 2 -- Clashes between angry youths and French police spread to at least six Paris suburbs overnight, with police firing tear gas and rubber-coated bullets at street fighters who lobbed Molotov cocktails and burned cars and trash bins. The hoodlums were "electrocuted while trying to evade police, and that's the fault of the police? The clashes began last Thursday after two African Muslim teenagers were electrocuted in the northeastern suburb of Clichy-sous-Bois while trying to evade police. On Sunday, as the street fighting continued, a police tear gas canister landed inside a mosque during Ramadan prayers, further inflaming the impoverished communities.
It's as though the Muslim youth and the Muslim community are the victims rather than the perpetrators of criminal acts. Yet the WAPO further distorts the true nature of the events by entitling their article, "Anger Spreads Across Paris Suburbs After Death of Muslim Boys." They killed themselves, damn it, the police were doing what they get paid to do - protect citizens and property, and catch criminals. But I guess when it comes to Muslims, they're suppose to be treated differently, or so it appears to be the Islamic way of thinking.
And I might add, the mainstream media's way of reporting.
Muslims are simply being Muslims, and the mainstream media are just doing what the media does best - misreport, distort, and push their agendas.
And as to Robert Spencer's comment that I referred to in the introduction, the one about France's Muslim woes and the "fruit of the immigration-without-assimilation policy" that the French have pursued so thoughtlessly for decades, you really do need to read Islam in France: The French Way of Life Is in Danger. It's truly and interesting read, but what will startle you is that the article was written in 1997. If it was THAT BAD then, imagine how bad it is now.
And Cherkoff says we'll get a handle on immigration reform here in the U.S. IN FIVE YEARS (via FoxTV on 11/2)!!! IS HE NUTS?
