One Marine's words the press didn't want to hear - and didn't want you to hear

Topics: Iraq

One Marine, Sgt. Todd Bowers, who did two tours in Iraq, describes the attitude of many press types with his comment, "They didn't want to talk to us."

Why? " He say's it's because "we were gung-ho for the mission."

And just in case you're one of those naysayers on the Left that believe Iraq's a lost cause, perhaps you should. "Ask the real experts" ...

In spite of the constant anti_Iraq drumbeat of the Democrats and the left-wing American press, American soldiers are much more optimistic than American civilians (no surprise since civilian opinion has been orchistrated by the negative media), and 56% of Iraqis think things will be better in six months - while onnly 16% thought they would be worse, and reenlistment rates continue to exceed expectations; furthermore, veterans are expressing their confidence in the war effort by signing up to continue fighting.

Fortunately, the majority of Americans are ignoring the anti-war and Democratic mouthpieces of the Left.
