Natalee Holloway: Skeeter's Tape Analysis
Topics:Dan Riehl has taken a look at the infamous Skeeter's Tape using some audio software and it appears as though someone may have gone to some lengths to cover certain things up to prevent Dr. Phil's audience from hearing everything that was on the tape.
Some might call this evidence of, at the very least, some highly questionable "technical errors."

What a bunch of Crap... First,of all Like Dan is an expert.... Second, who the hell cares whats on the Dr Phil Tape... It means NOTHING! So what if he edited it or doctored it.Like that would be a surprise???? Please! This is a big waste of time. The only tape anyone should be paying attention to are the orginnals. THe DVD and or hard-drive.

Gee Scott, you shouldn't hold back.
Why don't you tell us how you really feel?
Try breathing in, breathing out, etc...

Why would Dr. Phil edit the tape from saying "I would never do that." to "No."? I mean, that kind of defeats the whole purpose of editing it in the first place, don't you think?

I believe the concern is with the manipulation of the tape and not the editing.

See if you can "edit" , "manipulate", "change", "alter"..........this:
Natalee Holloway is missing! Where is she? Who is responsible? She's gone!

hi Harry,
On a recent thread of RWV a highly intelligent technical poster was ruminiating about whether or not a hard drive could be manipulated. Whether or not someone could record on one hard drive and soemhow switch the information to another hard drive leaving the DFI and the FBI to think that this was the only and original hard drive. Since, this information appears to be a form of entrapment I wonder if it is useful in any way as a solid attorney worth his salt would ahve a field day. However, why are we being pointed toward this tape? Why is everyone saying 'the dr. phil tape, is unimportant, concentrate on the "original" and the "hard drive"? What is the new circuitous route we are being asked to follow?
What is the purpose of this?
Lastly, why is the National enquirer reporting that this young woman is alive?

dr usa:
How do you know that Natalee Holloway is really missing? Why, is it because Beth Twitty claims that she cannot find her? How's that for editing the entire Twitty-Holloway & Trust Fund scenario?
From where I stand, I would not suspect that your best friend were missing, unless you claimed that she was. With Beth Twitty's proven resources, Natalee could have escaped detection out of Aruba rather easily. Besides, if anyone did see her leaving Aruba and tried to report it, there would be an ample supply of people ready to dissuade them.

Dear Little Bo Peep:
The National Enquirer reports of alien visitations, as well.
I do not see how entrapment figures into your hard drive scenario. The tape manipulations have been committed without enticement from any (accredited) law enforcement personnel.

I certainly hope Scott took your advice to do deep breathing relaxing techniques. He's a govn employee and must be at work at present.
So what if the Skeeter tapes were falsified for the Dr. Phil show? So lots. Skeeters sat through the mellowdramatic show and agreed that what was on that tape was correct, not only on Dr Phil, but others as well. He's now pedalling rapidly in reverse, saying he wasn't aware of the changes made. The "Yes, she did" was heard by four specialists at DFI as "No she didn't", and the "you'd be surprised how easy it was" was from an entirely different section of the interview. Skeeters the professional sat there and stated that what was on the tapes was what Deepak said. They sat on this SUPPOSEDLY incriminating evidence for several months. He's liable for a whole lot of suits. He knows that also, otherwise he wouldn't be now trying to distance himself from Phil stating he wasn't aware. This is almost hilarious.
