Leveling The Playing Field On The Left's Racism And Hypocrisy

Topics: Political News and commentaries
Liberals enjoy claiming that they are intellectuals, thrilled to engage in a battle of wits. This, they believe, distinguishes them from conservatives, who are religious fanatics who react with impotent rage to opposing ideas. - Ann Coulter
Jay Tea at Wizbang points to one of the current rages of our friends on the Left, a black man in Maryland, Michael S. Steele, who is running for the Senate as a Republican.

The fact that a black man is a Republican has a lot of leftists in an uproar, and some of them are taking such racially-sensitive tactics as calling him an "Uncle Tom,' Photoshopping him into a blackfaced minstrel (original image here, was taken down from here after this story), and throwing Oreos at him at campaign rallies.

As should be expected, a lot of people are outraged over the way Mr. Steele is being treated, but Jay thinks that there's a better angle that can be taken on this, other than the expression of outrage and disgust, and the recognition of the Left's hipocracy. Jay suggests, "Throwing symbolic foods" since that is now being endorsed as a legitimate tactic (at least on the part of the Left). He thinks that the Right should "sieze the moment and run with it."

Be sure to read Jay's suggestions as to what kinds of foods would make appropriate projectiles against certain leftist groups. Then perhaps, offer some of your own. On the other hand, maybe instead of joining the Left in their madness, racism, and hipocracy, we continue to expose it. They are, after all, already, as Michelle Malkin points out, quite unhinged!!!

First of all, I have to express my disgust over the manner in which a Black man is being treated because he has dared to run for governor as a Republican. How dare he belong to any other party than the Democrats. Lest we forget that it was the Democrats who were solidly against the Blacks having equal rights until it suited them to take up the cause, I think that the hypocrisy is all too obvious.

It seems that the liberal behaviour is par for the course. One liberal who has crossed my path admires Mohammed because of some cat story, but try telling her that this stance is hypocritical because Hitler is no different to Mohammed and see how she jumps about and avoids addressing the real issue - that Mohammed was an extremely brutal man, thus there is no way that he is a Prophet, let alone The Prophet, of God.

This same liberal lampoons Anne Coulter as someone who is really hateful, and when George Bush was re-elected, well I never thought that we were going to have an end to the hysterics over that win. This woman judges all homosexuals on the basis that she works with some, refusing some of the outrageous behaviour of homosexuals and their in yer face attitudes. If one states unequivocally that homosexuals must be celibate or they cannot receive the Eucharist as members of the Church, then she will automatically bring up her co-workers. She works in the mental health field but she is not a mental health professional and it shows with some of her other comments, that she does not understand that the ingestion of pot can in fact cause some to become schizophrenic. Such ideas are anathema to the liberal left. Of course Bill Clinton remains the blue eyed pin up boy, despite his weakness as a leader and his sexual pecadillos.
