Jordanians react to confession of wannabe bomber (updated)
Topics: War on TerrorUpdate: Harry Owens emails in that Fox News just aired a suspicion by Jordanians that the confession of the female suicide bomber was a little too convenient. Apparently, the world press is taking a closer look at this confession.CNN provides the story of the reactions of Jordanians over the televised confession of would be female bomber, Sajida al-Rishawi(two videos at link). The woman is the sister of a well known Al Qaeda operative who was killed by the Americans in an operation at Fallujah last year. Some Jordanians, especially those who lost loved ones in the attack have expressed shock and anger over the coldness of the woman in the way that she detailed her role in the bombings and her failure to die as a Muslim Martyr (for Satan). The Jordanians seem to be relieved to know that none of the bombers were in fact, Jordanian (remember, even the planner, Al-Zarqawi, is Palestinian).
The Jordanians are not used to this kind of brutal action. However, their psyche has all the hallmarks of the mindset of other Middle East Muslims since they cannot comprehend how Muslims could dare kill other Muslims.
They fail to comprehend that the Al Qaeda operatives have acted in such a cold-blooded manner that they have had no thought for the love of neighbour. The attitude of Al Qaeda has been either submit to us or be killed. (Now where in the Koran have I seen those words written before? It sounds a lot like the writings of Mohammed who was so willing to sacrifice the lives of his "troops" in order to subjugate whole nations)
And as the Jordanians were acting "with shock" over the bombings, a nationwide hunt for the accomplices of the suicide bombers who blew up the hotels in Amman, has led to the arrest of at least 10 members of the Jordanian armed forces, triggering worries that Al-Qaeda has infiltrated the Arab army most closely allied to the West.
Did I mention something about a mindset of failure to comprehend Islam's dark side?
Until 9/11, my only exposure to Islam was Jalal Al-Din Rumi, quite a peaceful fellow, and a hell of a poet (makes for enjoyable, peaceful, and beautiful reading). I have an Iranian friend whose father actually had him memorize his works.
What ever happened to that Islam???
And for a special treat, go to this article, and read the comments from our Islamofascist-loving, Bush-hating foaming at the mouth liberal "friends" in Canada. If these are citizens of the nation on our norther border, perhaps we ought to put a fence there also.

I am very impressed with the extra articles that have been included. What really took my interest is that Bruce Willis, the movie actor, has offered $1,000,000 as a bounty for Zarqawi and Osama Bin Laden.
