JI bomber confirmed dead
Topics: War on TerrorThe relatives and friends of the people who died in the Bali bomb blasts are happy to hear the news that the mastermind of the bomb blasts is now dead.
DNA and fingerprinting techniques have been used to confirm that the Malaysian Azahari Husin had died during the police shoot out. While it was first thought that he blew himself up, this has now been cast into doubt. The police on the scene believe that he was either shot by them or he died when a colleague released a bomb.
The BBC news reports that the men in the house that was raided threw grenades at the police during the fighting. At the scene, the police found backpacks that had been packed with explosives. So it seems that a further attack upon the innocent of Indonesia, and especially Bali, has been thwarted.
