Iran's Ahmadinejad: 'I Am the Messiah'

Topics: Iran

24e79caa-84b8-46a0-8cca-673f1921a9e5_w220.jpgVia Little Green Footballs, "Iran's madman "president" Ahmadinejad now seems to believe he is the Mahdi, the "divinely guided one" who will lead Islam to triumph over the infidel:

Iran: President Says Light Surrounded Him During UN Speech."

Apparently, he's off his meds again. The man has a serious case of dangerously scrambled reality!

When I began reading the links to this story, I found myself reading the "12th Man" instead of Imam. As an Australian who follows cricket, the 12th man has special significance. There is a series of CDs that have been released here in Australia that make fun of the cricket, called the 12th man. Anyway for some reason that is where my mind was drifting.

This story about the Mahid who is hiding sounds like the Islamic version of the Rapture. It is an unrealistic story that is not grounded in the Koran, as far as I am aware of the contents of the Koran.

This man is extremely dangerous, and I can remember how Ayatollah Khomeni used to direct Muslims all over the world to involve them in the carrying out of a fatwah against Salmon Rushdie. The very idea that there was a light surrounding this man is totally ridiculous.

As one who has had the joy of experiencing the Grace of Jubiliation, I can assure you that when God touches a person in a special way with grace, there is no surrounding light. Then again Satan is very deceptive and this man sounds very much like an agent of Satan (and I am not very religious!!!)
