Indonesia: Pirating drugs and chopping off Christian heads - Just another day in another Islamic stronghold
Topics: Understanding IslamAn Indonesian military officer is quoted as saying that the government has the power to stop the Jihad, but government officials "all the way to the top" profit from it. Their goal is nothing less than to exterminate every Christian in Indonesia or force them to leave. SourceIndonesian is in the news as a result of its recent decision to begin manufacturing anti-flu drug Tamiflu, although they are likely to be disappointed in the results, should they elect to depend upon it for protection against the H5N1 virus (it's already showing resistance to tamiflu).
Add to this the fact that Indonesia continues its anti-US and its stridently anti-Christian tactics when it comes to everyday affairs, and you have all the makings for an Indonesian news roundup at Riehl World View.
As for the anti-Christian tactics of Indonesia, as with other Islamic countries, isn't it interesting that "THERE IS NOT ONE CHRISTIAN NATION ON EARTH WHERE MUSLIMS ARE PERSECUTED. Yet in 83% of nations where the majority of the population are Muslims, there is systematic government persecution of Christians.
And as recently as a week ago, Indonesian national police issued a nationwide order to step up security measures around churches and other public buildings against possible terrorist attacks that might occur during the Christmas season.
The call for stepped up security came in the wake of the horrific beheadings and shootings in the religiously divided Poso region of Central Sulawesi over the last three weeks, and in face of Indonesian authorities being accussed of allowing "Massive, Persistent and Coordinated Persecution to Continue Unchecked Against Christian Minority."

A few decapitation in Poso, Sulawesi, ROI is really nothing to get alarmed about. Are we concerned because they are Christian heads? Actually, the situation on Sulawesi is quite calm compared to Aceh, East Kalimantan and Papua.
Here is some introductory reading on Papua where some 300,000 Christians have been murdered:
http://smh.com.au/news/world/indonesia-accused-of-papua-atrocities/2005/08/18/1123958181952.html
I admit that the Indonesian Army or the Laskur Jihad wannabes do not decapitate all their victims in Papua. For young females, the routine is to gangrape them, douse them in kerosene then set them afire. If the soldiers run out of kerosene they douse their vaginas in battery acid then toss them into an excrement pit. Apparently, these actions do not excite the press as much as decapitation. The firm responsible for many of these atrocities was sued recently in Los Angeles for US $6 Billion. The charge was genocide. In response the firm hired the world's most renowned expect on the legal intricacies of genocide. Yet, I suspect the Lord got even, recently. The person who filed the lawsuit received the Green Noble Prize!
Truly, the Republic of Indonesia (ROI) is a place about which few Americans know anything. What an adventure awaits them!
With Aloha,
Harry
