Indonesia: Pirating drugs and chopping off Christian heads - Just another day in another Islamic stronghold
Topics: Understanding IslamAn Indonesian military officer is quoted as saying that the government has the power to stop the Jihad, but government officials "all the way to the top" profit from it. Their goal is nothing less than to exterminate every Christian in Indonesia or force them to leave. SourceIndonesian is in the news as a result of its recent decision to begin manufacturing anti-flu drug Tamiflu, although they are likely to be disappointed in the results, should they elect to depend upon it for protection against the H5N1 virus (it's already showing resistance to tamiflu).
Add to this the fact that Indonesia continues its anti-US and its stridently anti-Christian tactics when it comes to everyday affairs, and you have all the makings for an Indonesian news roundup at Riehl World View.
As for the anti-Christian tactics of Indonesia, as with other Islamic countries, isn't it interesting that "THERE IS NOT ONE CHRISTIAN NATION ON EARTH WHERE MUSLIMS ARE PERSECUTED. Yet in 83% of nations where the majority of the population are Muslims, there is systematic government persecution of Christians. And as recently as a week ago, Indonesian national police issued a nationwide order to step up security measures around churches and other public buildings against possible terrorist attacks that might occur during the Christmas season. The call comes in the wake of the horrific beheadings and shootings in the religiously divided Poso region of Central Sulawesi over the last three weeks, and the Indonesian authorities are believed to be allowing "Massive, Persistent and Coordinated Persecution to Continue Unchecked Against Christian Minority."
