Has Plamegate Been 'Flamed' ?
Topics: Political News and commentariesWAPO's most celebrated reporter, Bob Woodward, learned of Valerie Plame and her employment at the agency from an unnamed administration official a month before Robert Novak revealed it in his column -- and it wasn't Karl Rove or Scooter Libby (hat tip-Captain Ed)
And as Libby's lawyer puts it:
"If what Woodward says is so, will Mr. Fitzgerald now say he was wrong to say on TV that Scooter Libby was the first official to give this information to a reporter?" Jeffress said last night. "The second question I would have is: Why did Mr. Fitzgerald indict Mr. Libby before fully investigating what other reporters knew about Wilson's wife?"Good questions, and I can hardly wait to hear the answers.
Is this game-set-match? The Conservative Voice asks - "Is The Valerie Plame-CIA Leak Case Crumbling?"

The speech and press conference by Rep. John Murtha (DEM/PA)should answer Cheney quite well. Murtha is no liberal nut. He is considered one of the most supportive of military. A veteran himself he has little patience with the five deferment types.
I agree with your comments regarding the Holloway case. Beth seems to think if she says something often enough, people will believe even if there is no evidence to verify her statements. Much of the "facts" are rumor and questionable info from J. Mansur.
