Al-Zarqawi Threatens To Behead King Abdullah II
Topics: TerrorismAn audiotape in the name of al-Qaida in Iraq threatened on Friday to chop off King Abdullah II's head and bomb more hotels and tourist sites. The speaker on the tape, identified as Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, also said the group's suicide bombers did not intend to bomb a Jordanian wedding party at an Amman hotel last week, killing about 30 people. . . .Opinion Bug has the link.
So, if two suicide bombers walk past a hotel lobby, and go into where a wedding is being held, then each walk to different corners of the room to detonate themselves into oblivion (although one of the bomb packages failed), in order to kill as many people in the wedding party as possible, just how in the hell can you call that an accident?
And how can he in one breath claim that the suicide bombers did not intend to strike the wedding party, and in the next breath insist that the striking of the wedding party at the Radisson SAS hotel was a "lie" and a "forgery" by Jordanian security officials? Only in the minds of militant Islamists can such thoughts be even considered.
But Muslims are begining to wake up to Islamic terrorism. Zarqawi does not represent the majority of Muslims, nor of Palestinians(as we've mentioned before, he is actually a Palestinian). He simply represents what has up to now been - the most vocal.

The mother of the bride whose father had already died as a result of the bomb blast at the Radisson Hotel, has succumbed to her injuries and has passed away. The number of dead as a result of the bomb blasts in Jordan now exceeds 62 dead.
