The Polarized Media

Topics: Political News and commentaries

Have you noticed the rash of headlines exposing Republican's as liars, cheats and criminals:

Meanwhile, the articles that discuss Democrats are bright and cheery:
Ouch ... are Republican's all that bad while Democrats are conveniently poised to "do better"? Call me paranoid, but is current reporting a bit imbalanced, perhaps reflecting a coordinated plan of attack?

Not to worry, conservative bloggers haven't lost their touch. Captain Ed paraphrases Kennedy's endorsement of John Kerry for President in 2008: I'm with Stupid.

Update: The Anchoress noticed the media line-up opposing the President:

I must say, it certainly does seem to me that right now President Bush has very few outlets by which he or his nominee may count on a being given a fair hearing. Miers is everyone's target de fortnight, and President Bush, himself, has no positive public access.

Tim:

Democrats have been liars, cheats, and criminals for quite some time.

Who cares if Frist and DeLay join them in the penalty box?

We need honest people at the top. Those who would line their pockets while claiming to represent rank-and-file Republicans should be in jail.

Democrats would never admit this. They aren't honest Americans. Republicans will acknowledge this and work to correct it. They have real American values.

The mainstream media can safely be ignored.

David seems to have it right. The maniacal left, Democrats all, lack the ability to reason. That's an affliction that most Republicans work at avoiding. Were Republicans to allow themselves to be blinded by the hate that permeates through the Democratic party, we too would live in a fog of distorted reality - incapable of reason, compromise and an ability to differentiate between fact and fiction.

I agree ... what I'm getting at is the role the mainstream media is attempting to play in pushing the bankrupt agenda of the liberal left.
