Spain Rolls On In Continued Irrelevance
Topics: DhimmitudeSpain continues to confound me. What really took me over the top was when the Zapatero government cut state funding for the Catholic Church but increased it for mosques, in an exercise of dhimmitude that went beyond my wildest imagination, even for Spain. But that was before the latest politically-driven arrest warrants were issued in Spain for three US soldiers over the deaths in 2003 of a Spanish journalist and a Ukrainian cameraman covering the war in Iraq.
The Boston Herald's Jules Crittenden witnessed the incident.
