Miers and Girls, Inc.
Topics: Supreme CourtAmid calls to pressure the popular doll manufacturer, American Girls, to end its support of the pro-abortion organization Girls, Inc. comes the startling revelation that Supreme Court Nominee Harriet Miers led Girls, Inc's advisory committee in the late 80s. No word yet on whether Girls, Inc. actively supported abortion during Miers' tenure.
Note that in 1989 Miers said she supported a Human Life Amendment to the Constitution and opposed federal funding of abortions.
