Iraqi Interior Minister Refers To Saudi official As a 'Bedouin riding a camel'
Topics: IraqDon't ya just love it? Bout time don't ya think?
Although I totally agree with the comment of Prince Saud al-Faisal, foreign minister of Sunni Muslim Saudi Arabia, when he expressed concern about growing Shi'ite influence in Iraq during a visit to Washington last month, I like the idea of a an Arab putting a Saudi in his place, and the Saudi government at the same time.
Iraq's interior minister (a Shi'ite and - maybe an Islamist?) lashed out yesterday at a Saudi minister who voiced worries about growing Iranian influence and Shi'ite power, saying Iraq would not be lectured by "some Bedouin riding a camel."
Be sure to read the rest of the complete put down of the Saudi government.
However, the truth of the matter is that both men have valid points!
