Helping The Earthquake Victims Of South Asia
Topics: Natural DisastersDan Spencer at California Yankee writes that once again we are being called upon to help those in need. This time for the victims of Saturday's killer earthquake. The death toll is in the tens of thousands and the United Nations says more than 2.5 million people were left homeless by Saturday's monster 7.6-magnitude quake. A number of charities have already launched appeals to help with the earthquake relief efforts in south Asia. As always in a natural disaster, the immeadiate need is for cash.
Dan asks that you give to the charity of your choice, or consider one that he has listed, and while you have the checkbook or charge card out consider giving even more to the US hurricane victims. Check out the Dan's list of ways that you can help.
