Hawaii News: Akaka Bill On Back Burner
Topics: Hawaiian NewsThe Akaka bill still sits in limbo, and even the prestigious Patton Boggs, Washington based constitutional law firm now lobbying for the Office of Hawaiian Affairs (OHA), has failed to make any progress. OHA pays the high-priced Patton Boggs law firm from proceeds derived from ceded lands that are intended for the betterment of Native Hawaiians of 50% blood quorum (without their consent).
The words from Congress is not a peep on the Akaka Bill. Of course, "not a peep" is the general result received from Congress from any racist agenda.
