Hawaii Beat: Hawaiian Liquor agency pursuing overhaul
Topics: Hawaiian NewsDennis Enomoto, the genius who allowed former Liquor Commissioner Weatherwax to retire on our tax dollars after supervising seven years of bribery, extortion and racketeering, has devised a plan where former Honolulu Police Chief Lee Donohue, producer of the 9.1% crime resolution rate who could not control the intermingling of our elite criminal investigators (CID) with known organized crime leaders and could not even keep the jail cells under his direct supervision locked, will handle complaints for the Liquor Commission in order to minimize abuse by the agency.
I can only wonder where this arrogant incompetence ends. Obviously, Enomoto and his comforter, Donohue, are rising stars in the state's corrupt Democratic Party.
Please correct me if I am mistaken, but didn't Weatherwax's seven years of administered chaos occur under the nose of then-Police Chief Lee Donohue? Given that realization, I am sure that Enomoto's latest adventure into lunacy is intended to maintain the status quo in Honolulu's liquor business.
What happened to former Police Chief Donohue's under-the-table drive to oust the state's accredited selection from the Honolulu International Airport Security services in favor of Akal Security?
I suspect one of the root problems with corruption in Honolulu is Lee Donohue: either he is part of it or he is too incompetent to tackle it.
