HarryTho 10/30 Natalee Holloway Update And Commentary (Early Edition) Updated

Topics: Natalee Holloway

Today's "early edition" is more last night's news and commentary than today's, and it's one that is more intended to rehash what's been "out there" that we might have cause to revisit in the near future, as we attempt to look at some of it anew in the light of more recent events. Hence, less connections tonight, but more dots...

On the "brief" news side we have Aruba Getagrip with: "Party rejects Nelson Oduber's proponed Cabinet New parliament members sworn in yesterday."

Rudy Croes will have to relinquish the Ministry of Justice and assume responsibility for Tourism and Utilities;

• The new Minister of Justice is to be Candelario "Booshi" Wever who will also have the responsibility for Public Health and Environment;

MEP internally divided on minister positions

It appears to be difficult for Nelson Oduber to establish a new council of ministers. It seems that the current Justice-minister Rudy Croes and his colleague-minister Ramon Lee of Labour, Culture, and Sport do not get what they want. The two left the meeting prematurely. They didn't want to comment on their premature departure.

It also appears that the Justice Ministry is an important post in Aruba. Rudy Croes refuses to let it go!

Now moving on to the rehash aspects I spoke of earlier:

Here is the entire posting script from NewsWatcher. She/he is querying whether or not Natalee was autistic or bipolar. The Twitty family has gone to great lengths to keep Natalee's health record out of the disappearance case - as may be perfectly proper.

In the early days of the investigation, Dan was quite fond of the Twittys and protected them on his site. Any mention of Natalee's medication was forbidden - and again, given what was known at the time - that was a proper and appropriate consideration.

(Update) Now, however, although we should maintain a balance between proper and appropriate respect for the victim in this case, whatever the circumstances, it is reasonable to now ask further questions, given the duration and the status of her disappearance and the investigation.

Natalee's resume mentions her work at Harvest Glen Market.

So, you are thinkin' that Natalee, with a full pre-med scholarship to UofAlabama was autistic.
okey dokey.

Natalee's "best friend", Mallie Tucker's mother owns the market. They both worked there.

Well, either Natalee had no disability and was taking funds that were earmarked for someone with a disability or she had a disability and was earning them because of that. What is it, Brookies?

I don't see where this is implied. However, Natalee worked there on a paid basis ACCORDING TO PEOPLE FROM MB and earned the money for her trip ACCORDING TO PEOPLE FROM MB. The article states other problems too. We have always wondered about the bottle of medication that showed on while GVS was interviewing BT. Could it be that Natalee has ADHD or maybe even Bipolar Disorder? By the way, if she does, this does not mean that she is "less than."

The reason this is of interest is that if Natalee was taking any type of psychotropic medication, the consequences of drinking could be deadly.

The reason I ask is that if Natalee

wow, I really hope none of NH family EVER comes on this blog

This is not a Twitty family support forum. I want to know if Natalee was on medication that should not have been mixed with drinking.

Posted by: newswatcher | Oct 29, 2005 4:08:44 PM

Because the article says that people with disabilities work there on a paid rotating basis. Therefore, if one were to donate to this program, one would assume the all money would be going to the disabled, not someone who didn't need the training and experience provided by the market. Nowhere does it state that non-disabled work there for payment. So either the market is being dishonest, or Natalee had a disability.

Natalee was on medication. We do not know what it was, but I believe Marcia said she was not asthmatic. The paid position at the market is a clue. I am adding it to the list.

Fox News (a new gal) hosted a girl named Mai, and Dave Holloway.

Mai explained that the Dutch Forensic Institute (DFI) has the Skeeter CD; however, they have not put its authentication on their front burner. According to Mai, the DFI explained that they had the entire Kingdom of the Netherlands to service. They will attend to the Skeeter CD when they get the time. Currently, the Skeeter CD is on a low priority.

Dave Holloway, now in Mississippi, felt that the CD should have been authenticated already by the FBI. He refrained from questioning the decisions of the DFI, and simply said that they have their rules and regulations, and they are following them. When asked about the searches, Dave said that Police Chief Dompig directed the search teams to an area of the ocean some 5 miles from the hotel area. Dave seemed unsure about the second check of the investigation that had been promoted to be happening.

In a follow up question by the Fox News person, Dave fielded a strange question about his evaluation of the FBI - Dutch investigative team's cooperation. He explained that Tim Miller of Texas EquuSearch and he had requested, last week Wednesday, some assistance from the FBI. As of today, Dave stated that he had not heard anything from either the FBI or the Dutch authorities.

It was clear from the interview that Dave was not very optimistic. Further, the reluctance of the DFI to check the Skeeter CD may be a result of the medium change in that the data on the CD had been downloaded form a computer hard drive. The DFI may prefer to check only the original medium (computer hard drive) rather than waste their time with a transcribed copy. Also, their reluctance may be a reflection of the FBI's appraisal of the CD's authenticity. Recall Police Chief Dompig expressed his doubts about the CD.

Here are some recent quotes from Police Chief Dompig that I missed in the cable news interviews. They were posted on the Bushy Haired Stranger site recently. Police Chief Dompig is considering Natalee's disappearance as a possible scam.

Via "The Bushy Haired Stranger" - Dompig said on tv he doesn't rule out a scam

He said that this case has two possible scenarios:
One: Natalee was killed by some one for certain unknown reason.
Two: This case is a scam. In this part he elaborated that are two kinds of scam. The first one is killing someone to get the insurance money and the second one is claiming that someone is dead in order to raise a fund and use this for personal reason.
While readers put these tidbits "in their pipes and smoke it (ponder it), we'll call it Aloha time and get back to more later - tonight.

"M" wrote in to offer: The Lineup" on Fox News had Beth on. She was upset with the Dutch for taking so long to authenticate the tape.

Now this seems very disingenuous to me, since Skeeter held on to the tape for probably about 6 weeks before the Dr. Phil Show aired it, then it took them about 5 weeks to turn it over to the Aruban police. Now she's complaining that the Dutch aren't giving it the priority it deserves. How come she didn't complain about Skeeters taking so long to get the tape out, or Dr. Phil taking so long to hand the tapes over. It makes you wonder what she knows about these tapes.

The reporter also mentioned AM Digital and Beth was indignant that Dompig is asking questions about her and the fund.

"M" also wrote earlier, refering to yesterday's information:
Virginia Page is the daughter of Rufus Page of McWane Corporation. She certainly neglected to mention her father's private plane. There was another girl that was with Natalee at the HI casino. She said that Natalee asked Joran if he was going to CnC that night. Joran said something like Sunday's are dead. I think this was an invitation from Natalee to Joran and that is the way Joran took it.
On another item, the comment below follows up where we left off earlier. How did Jug know about the detail of the knitwork on Natalee's panties? I am afraid to attempt a response!
From "The Bushy Haired Stranger - Unanswered Questions"

But remember, Jug was allowed into the jail to talk to the boys. I have no idea why. I think this was Jun 10. Not long after that, the confession came out (at least a confession as to where they'd really taken Natalee). Since we've seen the Twittys are willing to take anything and twist it around, it would not surprise me if Jug got his panty details from talking to Joran, that is, by feeding him lines and trying to get him to agree to them. The panties themselves must have been seen by dozens of people at the bar. The shaved business is harder to explain. It also begs the question that if Joran said this, how did anyone know it was true?
As we said in the introduction, again, more dots, less connections, and more to mull over.
