HarryTho Thursday Evening Natalee Holloway WatchTopics: Natalee Holloway
Here's a couple of quick items to follow that are related to Natalee. Since the Katrina coverage began, the pickings have been slim:
Although directly related to Natalee's disappearance, Expatica has an article entitled, "Faith in justice system shaken by DNA revelations" that doesn't sound very encouraging in regard to the credibility of the Dutch legal system, particularly on whether or not one should believe results from DNA tests conducted in Holland (remember the duct tape and hair sent to the Netherlands for DNA testing?).
From BlogsForNatalee we have Geraldo Rivera(video) saying that Joran's release by the Aruban judge was in fact a Dutch decision. Further, that Natalee's parents are yet another victime of Katrina, owing to the drastic change in the coverage of Natalee's disappearance following the disaster.
From yesterday, Lady Lee has 100 Days... Still Missing.
Scared Monkeys posts on this past weekend's diggings near the Fisherman's Huts and the area near the Pond: "Since this search was done at the request of Prosecutor Jansen one wonders and speculates as to the motive behind this search. Many have speculated as to whether this was a search done off a tip, just grasping at straws or just a show to give the appearance of an investigation? A search in an area that the fireman had pain staking done a month previous when they attempted to drain the ponds. Some items were found; however, what does not seem coincidental is this area in so many occasions comes up as a place of interest where witnesses have claimed to have seen the suspects the night of Natalee Holloway's disappearance." Scared Monkeys has a translation several images of the goings on.
