the government yes has failed us again but know is not the time for critiscism it is a time for remorce. from looking at a satellite view of new orleans really there was no way in or out but that is no excuse for the slow acting slow pacing of our government. yet they have failed us again. there is no excuse for a nation a country so powerful to be yet so ignorant of the way we handle a serious threat from terror now nature. what will happen next now this shows that america is vunerable to anything right now. this will be history an incident that could not be avoided but prevented. there is no excuse for 19.000 to 20.000 people to be stranded for that amount of time in stadium with no lights no water very little food, young girls gettig raped or killed. this could be you your loved ones. 6 days NO EXCUSE YET WE HAVE BEEN FALED AGAIN what will happen next time will the government act poorly when it happens to them. let GOD BLESS US ALL FOR WE HAVE NO ONE BUT HIM. MY LORD AND SAVIOR GOD BLESS YOU THANK YOU

Yes, it is sad that response was so slow. No, it isn't time to play the blame game, it is time to help those who are victims of Katrina.
Above all, it is time for America to "get its' life on track"! Our gov't is too stressed on looking across the alantic or the pacific. Our response teams is are untrained if any exist at all. Our 1st response in case of disaster or terrorist attacks inside the US is the Homeland Sercurity Dept. We endorsed this department into creation and for what? Can we expect this type of response to a terrorist attack inside the US? Will it take our gov't 5 days to respone to a bio, chem, nuclear, or a radio attack in NY or DC?
