John Kerry Requests Silver Star After Piloting Swift Boat Through New Orleans

Apparently, the Pentagon claims the mission was unauthorized, but Kerry claims it was a secret mission approved by the highest levels of the government. Further, it seems that Sean Penn tried to join Kerry on his own swift boat, but it sank before leaving dock.

It is unfortunate that John Kerry was a member of the Brown Navy. For those of us who lived through the conflict in Vietnam, we remember that some one-third of the Brown Navy sailors were casualties. Sailing on a swift boat was extremely dangerous duty. For John Kerry to carry-on the way that he has does a tremendous disservice to these brave sailors.
