Islamists Conduct Pogrom Against Christians In West BankTopics: Middle East News and Perspectives
Taiba, the only West Bank village that is completely inhabited by Christians, is famous for its Taiba Beer factory, which was established by the Khoury family in 1994. The residents of Taiba are Roman Catholic, Greek Orthodox or Greek Catholic. The city of Taiba, long a center for Christians in the West Bank, as well as other nearby Christian villages, came under attack from more than 500 Islamist terrorists on Sunday. Shouting Muslim slogans such as Allahu akbar!, the Islamists torched houses and businesses, and drove Christians from their beds after a nearby Muslim family forced their daughter to drink deadly poison when her family discovered that she had been involved in a forbidden relationship with a Christian. The family buried their daughter without reporting her death to the relevant authorities.

By the time the attack ended, at least 16 houses had been gutted by fire and a statue of the Virgin Mary had been destroyed.
