HarryTho Friday Night Natalee Holloway Update And CommentaryTopics: Natalee Holloway
This is one of those nights where there's more commentary on the media than there is news on Natalee. Nonetheless, we do find some items of interest to discuss.
Scared Monkeys are running an article that the Minister of Justice is expressing concern over statements made by Beth Twitty to the media.
Although the article advocates freedom of speech, there are concerns that the Minister of Justice should address. First of which is whether or not the statements, being made by Beth Twitty, have veracity. If the Minister of Justice can disclaim what Beth Twitty is saying, it would go a long way to silencing her. Unfortunately, Aruba preservers with what could be inaccurate statements about the case of Natalee's disappearance. Second, travel to Aruba is a privilege and not a right for a foreigner. Visa restriction could be employed. Clearly, if Beth Twitty is perceived attempting to disrupt the good order and discipline of the Aruban community, she could be denied entry.
Clearly, the threats communicated by Beth's new associate, Joe Mammana, could handled via diplomatic channels. Joe Mammana is not the only entity with pressure application opportunities. Aruba is an ally of the United States in the drug war. The cooperation between the two countries, thus far, has been amicable. Aruba could play its "cooperation" card on the US Department of State in an effort to contain Beth Twitty's negative PR campaign.
Right now, Aruba has exhibited extreme patience with this disappearance. If Beth Twitty continues with her campaign, Aruba may decide to defend itself in a manner damaging to the Untied States.
As for Joe Mammana's threats, he needs to be reminded that the King of the Bums in Aruba is a former member of the infamous Good Ship Lollipop. Joe tries pushing his weight around in Aruba, and he could end up making music.
Earlier today a reader commented:
If the documents that Beth has were never signed by jvds and were just made up by the police for interrogation purposes, where does the embroidered flower on the underwear come in? If the underwear is described in this detail and jvds had nothing to do with the description, is this proof that the Aruban police have handled Natalee's body? The Argentine government disposed of bodies that it never wanted found by throwing them out of planes over the South Atlantic. To the above comments, I offer the following:
If Joran didnt mention about Natalee's undergarments in his statement...then how did the statement get in there?
Someone had to know what she was wearing...underneath
I wouldnt put it past Aruban police to have disposed of Natalee. I always state that Aruban officials are directly involved in the disappearance. This is too clean to be done by rote amateur criminals. Even the most experienced of criminals leave tracks.
OK, Beth has been quoting from translated statements provided to her. It is unclear whether or not those "translated statements" were provided by Josie Mansur's police connections. Given the Twitty-Holloway camp's propensity to international press-ize the information that they receive, it is unlikely that those statements were released to her by normal police channels. Accordingly, we have to weigh the veracity of those "translated-statements" with other information that has been promoted by Josie Mansur and the Dairio newspaper sources. It is quite possible that a good deal of rhetorical license was incorporated into the translations.Going back to earlier today, One of our readers emailed that the Bon Dia newspaper reported an "insider account" of corruption in the case about to be published
The only "flower" undergarments that I am familiar with are those found near the Fisherman's Huts. Those undergarments were never associated with Natalee Holloway. The only description of Natalee's clothing that I ever heard of was her blouse and shorts ... maybe her flip-flops.
I doubt the Aruban authorities would get involved in a difficult cover-up. Taking an Argentine joyride would provide too many opportunities for discovery. For one thing, the pilot would have to be in on it. Argentina offers a huge military with black-op capabilities. Aruba could only dream of those capabilities.

"Ex-commissioner Stanley Zaandam in his new book KPA-Quo Vadis 2,3.
To exculpate the son of Paul vd Sloot, the commissioner and fiscal falsely arrested two ex security guards. Police command nominations named as the reason of the mistake.
ORANJESTAD - The police corps committed a blunder in the case of the disappearance of Natalee Holloway. According to ex-commissioner Stanley Zaandam, who dedicates attention to the case here and also in his upcoming publication.A reader later wrote:
According to Zaandam, the nominations - of among others Commissioners Bernardina, Dompig, Hassel and Richardson, along with 34 high-rank 1st class inspectors - which are against the law and hierarchy of the KPA, have serious consequences for the quality and integrity of work in KPA.
According to Zaandam, none of the high-ranked commissioners has the qualifications nor experience to conduct a judicial investigation.
Police at the top of political list:
According to Zaandam, Commissioner Dompig is under the instruction of Minister Rudy Croes, of MEP.
He also states that 20 other policemen were ranked high on a political list. Five others (...) among them Commissioner Hassell, according to Zaandam.
He also claims this is how Commissioner vd Straten was appointed to this case. However, according to Zaadam, this should not be work for a commissioner.
Zaadam continues talking about the blunder under which the 3 youngster were questioned, which should have been a simple case, but one that resulted in KPA's biggest blunder, due to the deceiptfulness of JvdS, Satish and Deepak Kalpoe, they remained free another 12 days.
I read your post and reposted, I think you make a great point. Put up or shut up. I am worried however that it would be very easy for Aruba to lie about the statements for 2 reason. One, not to create even more attention and secondly to not tip off any defense strategies. To which I replied with:
Sometimes it's hard to figure you're actual point of view but I'm hoping if you match the statments of Joe Mammana and Mr. Croes, we have the makings of a great drama. And why not? This situation is filled with so much to bring out the best and worst in people. I think it's very basic and human and intense. Worth the attention.
I am really not trying to make a specific point. I read the information, report it and sometime I add some commentary where and when I think it is needed. The Justice Minister is concerned about the negative and threatening avenue with which Beth Twitty is undertaking. I tried to bring some focus as to where an amicable relation can evolve, pointing out along the way some shortcomings in their scheming. Right now, as I see it, Beth and Joe are lambs walking amongst a pride of vicious lions. This was posted more to stimulate further discussion more than to inform!
Aloha for tonight.

Natalee Holloway and Treatment of Women in Aruba
The first day that the Natalee Holloway story hit the airwaves, I told my wife that no one would ever be brought to account for the disappearance. There are several reasons for this. The first one is that all of those small islands quietly look away while the sex slave trade flourishes. It is a major industry in the Caribbean and Atlantic islands that supports the small governments there alongside the drug warehousing trade. Contrary to popular belief, tourism is not the main industry for those islands; slavery for sexual purposes and drug transit are together the main sources of revenue for those islands.
People--and that is for the most part young women and teenagers--go to these islands in order to party. The tourist places cater to that with a healthy provision of drugs that are illicit in the U.S. and are only nominally so there. In turn, the young women and boys parade around the beaches soaking up the sun and frolicking in the waves unknowlingly watched by those predators whose jobs are to whisk away one or two here and there for use in porno movies and books and websites, and later even sold to wealthy slaveowners in Saudi Arabia and Brunei and similar places. That's where Natalee is now, alive but not well. And the Aruban investigators know it. Those are not stupid people down there on the tiny island.
Joran van der Sloot and the Kalpoe brothers are mere peons in the sex slave industry. The so-called Honorable Judge van der Sloot, the boy's father, is probably higher up in the island's industry, perhaps even a manager over the goings-on there. We will never really know, because the Aruban government is not going to expose a lucrative business like that. Small island-nations like that require revenue in order to function. And, after all, Natalee is an American and not an Aruban, and thus not someone they would particularly care about.
Finally, it has been predicted by some commentators that Americans will stop going to Aruba. I would encourage such a boycott not only against Aruba but all of those islands out there for the simple reason that it is safer for Americans within the borders of the United States. However, it is doubtful that the young women and boys will stop going to those islands. Look at Jamaica, a larger island where Americans and Europeans go missing so regularly that it is not even a news item; young women and boys flock there still and yet by the thousands."

my question is how is it that beth has all these high profile people around her including an International lawyer giving her advise and trying to help her ,not even to mention to her that ARUBA can deny her entry into their country because it sound like to me that they were on their way to ARUBA,would not an INTERNATIONAL LAWYER KNOW THIS??? WOW
