HarryTho Friday Evening Natalee Holloway Update And Commentary

Topics: Natalee Holloway

Here's a quick update on Natalee, will try to find time to cover more in the morning.

Scared Monkeys has an interesting post on some criticisms of the PM by the former police chief, and Aruban politics - as it affected the prosecuation of the three suspects.

Greta on Fox News hosted Ted Williams, a homicide detective, Jim Hammer, a former San Francisco District Attorney, and Bernie something, an defense counsel.

Ted Williams contends that there is no help for the Natalee Holloway case. Succinctly, the case has been blown.

Jim Hammer believes that the prosecutor should have had the decency to inform the Twitty-Holloway camp that they had no evidence in the case a long time before the recent release of the suspects. He feels the prosecutor has lost all credibility.

Greta pleads for the prosecutor to come on her show in order to clear her name and the efforts of her office.

More tomorow.

COURT TV SPECIAL INVESTIGATION: Mystery in Aruba
Premieres Monday, September 19 at 10pm E/P
Encores Friday, September 23 at 11pm E/P

The island of Aruba has been haunted this summer by one question: What happened to Natalee Holloway? While on vacation, the 18-year old high school grad disappeared without a trace on May 30. Aruban police have detained several men during their investigation, including 18-year-old Joran van der Sloot, the son of an Aruban official, who was last seen with Holloway. A few pieces of evidence have been found, but so far there are no breaks in the case. Theories as to the reason for Holloway’s disappearance include murder, accidental death, and even abduction into white slavery. Court TV examines the theories, evidence, and suspects with help from a former FBI criminal profiler, a Holloway family private investigator, and Aruban eyewitnesses and officials. TV-14 V
