Jordanians Capture Terrorists Who Fired on Eilat
Topics: TerrorismThe Jordanian government has announced that it has captured the 'father and sons' team of terrorists who fired a Katyusha rocket at Eilat's airport last Friday. The father and two sons were originally from Syria, but a fourth terrorist from the same family was originally from Iraq. All four were caught attempting to escape from Jordan into Iraq, and according to Jordanian security officials, the terrorists sought to gain international recognition by firing a rocket into Eilat and harming Israel's tourist industry. They also fired a rocket at a United States ship docked in the Jordanian Red Sea port of Aqaba, adjacent to Eilat, but missed.
