The False NARAL Ad is a 'Republican Diversion' says Howard Dean
Topics: Supreme CourtYesterday on Face the Nation, Democratic National Committee Chairman Howard Dean responded to questions about the false commercial distributed by NARAL:
"I'm not even going to get into that. I'll tell you why: there's been a lot of stuff that's gone too far. And, the Republicans really are great authors of that kind of stuff. This is a diversion.Criticism of the NARAL lie is a Republican diversion? Hardly. NARAL got caught in a blatant lie and now their ally's in the Democratic party have a political hot potato to deal with. C'mon Sen. Dean, you could do better than that.
