How radical Islamists see the world

Topics: Understanding Islam

Dan Murphy and Howard LaFranchi, staff writers of The Christian Science Monitor, have an informative piece on the world as seen by the "radical" Islamists. Though I find their piece somewhat appeasing to Muslims and 'dhimmitudious' (article implies a greater number of 'moderates' then probably exist), it' a good primer on the Islamofascist mindset.

Persistent suicide bombings in Iraq. Attacks on London subways. Explosions at an Egyptian resort.

Whether related or not, these recent incidents have heightened global concern about the spread of radical Islamist militancy. And they raise questions about the current reach of Al Qaeda and groups with similar ideology. Today and tomorrow, the Monitor examines the origins of Islamic terrorism and how it is evolving now.

To find out just how 'dhimmitudious' the authors' series actually is, we'll have to check back tomorow. I've often found the CSM to be occasionally too liberal for my taste, but we'll have to wait to find out where Murphy and LaFranchi are going with their piece before I can beat-up on them. Hopefully, they'll prove me wrong.
