Noon Roundup of Interesting Blog ReadsTopics: Blogger Round-up
Another eclectic blend of some of the more interesting blog reads in the sphere:
A Western Heart: In "Horrible News That Didn't Make The Headlines," we learn that "at least 22 schoolchildren have reportedly been shot dead in a brutal raid on a remote village in northeastern Kenya." (If it's not anti-American, anti-Christian, or anti-semetic, for the MSM - it's just not news. But hell, the Rove story is an MSM obsession)
California Yankee: The trespassing case against illegal alien Jorge Mora Ramirez has been postponed because the judge who heard it has been asked to hear similar cases. Ramirez is the illegal alien who was charged with criminal trespassing by New Ipswich police last April. (Ridiculously, the moonbat Jaffrey District Court Judge L. Phillips Runyon III, questioned whether he was the right authority to determine someone's immigration status..)
In The Bull Pen: In "Islamic Scholar Sentenced To Life In Prison," we see that the prominent U.S.-based Islamic scholar who exhorted his followers after the Sept. 11 attacks to join the Taliban and fight U.S. troops was sentenced Wednesday to 'Big House' for life.
Mark In Mexico: posts on the family of Hasib Hussain, 18, who had called the police casualty bureau late last Thursday to say he had gone to London with friends and was missing and was a potential victim. He has now been identified as another of the bombers, and the family is devastated. (Two tragedies to cope with, their son is dead, and their son is a killer - hard for any parent and I feel for them, but not their son.)
Michelle Malkin: has the story on the big shake up at the Department of Homeland Security. (looks like there isn't a 'whole lota shakin goin on' ... there needs to be BIG TIME shakin on immigration and border issues.)
Dean's World: Interesting fact - no democracy has ever experienced a famine, or gone to war with another democracy. (and the Organisation of the Islamic Conference (OIC) wants a permanent seat on the UN Security Council for its member nations? Right, when pigs fly!)
The QandO Blog: Educates us on the Karl Rove issue. Is there an orange jumpsuit for Karl? (rather decent coverage)
And last but certainly not least, be sure to go traveling with Michael Yon in Iraq. You'll experience some great views...
Look for updates during the afternoon and evening ...
