Natalee Holloway Updates

Topics: Natalee Holloway

Although some of these items were mentioned in the morning news summary, they've been re-posted here where we'll post new updates throughout the day, if there is anyhing actually enough to mention.

Joran Van Der Sloot: has a screenshot of Satish's MSN.... (hint - he's away, probably avoiding the press and if the Aruban police ever get there act together, them too)

Scared Monkeys: posts on Natalee Holloway in ""They Buried Natalee in the neighborhood of Fishermen huts," which indeed, could be a bombshell if the story holds up. "According to information that DIARIO is receiving, when Joran van der Sloot was detained he started crying during interrogation and he even told officers that they buried Natalee in the neighborhood of Fishermenhuts [sic]."

Riehl World View: blogging on the Natalee Holloway 'Fishermenhuts' story, has some cold water to throw on the rumors. (as to the confession story, I agree with one of Dan's commenters; "... if it were factual, then why hasn't the Aruban police thoroughly checked out this area? How did the cadaver dogs fail to alert in is area? For that matter, how come the Texas team was not directed to this specific area? We have too many questions for this confession to be credible.) But of course, I wouldn't be surprised about anything at this point.

Again, look for updates throughout the day - if there's anything relly newsworthy, we'll post on it.

Duct tape is a very effective, fast, and easy way to tie up a kidnap victim. When I first read of the discovery of pieces of duct tape on a tree in a remot area of Aruba, I got the terrible feeling that Natalee had been abducted and taken to South America.
If the hairs on the newly discovered duct tape prove to be hers, the kidnap theory is very probably true. It would explain the strange behavior of the suspects, including Paul Van Sloot.
The best course of action for the parents, if the hairs prove to be Natalee's is to send copies of the rewards notices confidentially to every police office in South America. Do not publicize it, because this would warn the kidnappers.
Those corrupt police officials in SA would turn in their own grandmother for that kind of money. I predict that once they get the word, every brothel in every country will be raided. Beth might get a joyful phone call!
