London Suicide Bomb Squad Linked To East Africa

- The Scotsman: Detectives hunting the bombers who are on the run after last week's failed attacks in London have widened their net after discovering the gang had links to Africa.(...) Yesterday, they released the names of two men who, they say, tried to detonate bombs on a bus and an Underground train last Thursday, and police are now understood to have also identified two other suspects whose faces were captured on CCTV cameras.
(...) A fifth bomber is believed to be on the run after dumping his device and police are concerned that the gang may be lying low in a safe house preparing to strike again.
(...) Police refused to reveal any more details about the men they named - Muktar Said Ibrahim, also known as Muktar Mohammed Said, 27, and Yasin Hassan Omar, 24 - but sources suggest that some of the gang are of African extraction, possibly Somalis.
