London Police Appeal For Help
Topics: TerrorismAccording to SKY NEWS, London police have held a press conference following yesterday's failed bombings of the London Tube network.

(A suspected bomber runs from Oval Tube station - Sky News)
The conference, held in the QE2 Centre in Westminster, was held by Metropolitan Police Commissioner Sir Ian Blair and Assistant Commissioner Andy Hayman. Here is a summary of what was said:
- Four men are being hunted in connection with yesterday's attacks.
- CCTV footage shows the men in tube stations across London.
- Anyone who may have seen the suspects should contact the anti-terrorist branch on 0800 78932 or call 999 immediately.
- The men should not be approached.
- Sir Ian Blair appealed for Londoners to keep calm, saying: "We need the understanding and cooperation of all communites."
(This seems to be an appeal to Muslims)
- He assured the public that hundreds of police officers and anti-terrorist teams were working around the clock to stop the attacks, adding "the situation is under control."
- He said that today's shooting of a suspected suicide bomber at Stockwell Tube station, south London, was "deeply regrettable", but told how the man had refused to obey police instructions.
- He added: "This shooting is directly linked to the on-going and expanding anti-terrorist operation."
Fox News has a video of the "Terror Manhunt" (in the "Video" box) that provides a visual of today's happenings.
