Aussie's leg holds vital clue to London Bombing

THE toggle switch that detonated the London bus bomb was found in the leg of Sydney victim Louise Barry. Scotland Yard investigators retrieved the vital clue from London's University College Hospital after an initial operation to remove shrapnel from Ms Barry, 29. Surgeons recovered the all-important electrical switch from the thigh of the Mosman woman, who was sitting at the rear of the Route 30 bus when a bomb carried by 18-year-old Hasib Hussain exploded directly above her. "They took it (the toggle) out in the first operation," Ms Barry's mother, Sue Brown, told The Sunday Telegraph yesterday. "Louise thinks that's rather exciting and now Scotland Yard has got it."
