Hermit returns home after living 40 years in cave

In a story reported by the Solomon Islands Broadcasting Corporation via ABCNewsOnline(Australia), a man living in the Solomon Islands as a hermit in a jungle cave for 40 years, returned home when "his fire went out." Philip Uduota, from the north-east of the island of Malaita, had been living alone in a mountain jungle cave in the South Pacific island nation since 1964. He had been living on food that he gathered in the forest. His relatives were able to convince him to stay with them in their village, at least for now.
