Disappointing development in Natalee Holloway Case

Topics: Natalee Holloway

Dan at Riehl World View writes that the Kalpoe family has denied Texas Equusearch permission to search around their house.

One reasonably solid bit of information I did discuss with some others was a report that the Kalpoe brothers were seen washing their car very thoroughly in what was said to be an unusual location near their home. This alleged activity was also reported to have been witnessed by an additional party, as well.

An initial on site check by another individual seemed to confirm that from the looks of some very specific observations made at the location, this bit of information could be accurate and potentially worthwhile.

After other discussions with yet a different individual closer to, but not directly involved with the search itself, it was reported back to me that everyone in the chain agreed that this particular search would be attempted with the dogs.

It seems that didn't happen. What is it, I wonder, that some might have to hide? Or are private property issues simply that sacrosanct to the Kalpoes?

My over-all read of the present situation is that the Equusearch team has been trimmed back with some members already having returned to Texas. The prosecuter in Aruba seems to be no closer to solving Natalee's disappearance today than on the first day after her disappearance. Each day it seems that the case grows colder, as do the chances of finding her alive.
