The Battle for Mosul: Dispatch II
Topics: Middle East News and PerspectivesAlthough it was posted a couple of days back, Michael Von has a piece that provides a great update and perspective on Iraq issues, the Newsweek book- in-the-toilet(not) issue, and much more:
(...) against the wishes of the enemy, and even much of the media, somehow the Iraqis continue to progress. I am amazed at the strength of the Iraqi spirit. These people keep trying, and they love their children.
(...) A fanatic who straps a bomb to his chest and walks into a market crowded with women and children, then detonates a bomb that is sometimes laced with rat poison to hamper blood coagulation, is properly called a "mass murderer." There is nothing good to say about mass murderers, nor is there anything good to say about a person who encourages these murders. Calling these human bomb delivery devices "suicide bombers" is simply incorrect. They are murderers.
It's information and insight on the real goings-on in Iraq, denied you by the MSM, and it comes from someone that you need to hear from ....
