An afternoon check on some interesting blogs
Topics: Blogger Round-upHaving walked blindly into writing several long posts over the last couple of days, I'm taking a brief break, and I've grabbed some very good reads from some very good blogs, for checking out at your leisure ...
Digger's Realm drums up the "The United States Of Iraq?" and thinks it's not such a bad idea, and Say Anything also things that what's good enough for America should be good enough for the Iraqis. I sort of like the idea myself. Just build an Israeli-type wall around the Sunni areas(Sunniland), and let them blow the hell out of their own camp - just keep them out of the other areas and bingo - solutionville.
Chad at inTheBullPen posts that "Ansar al-Sunnah Executes Two Kurds Allegedly Working for Halliburton."
Michelle Malkin says "Good Riddance To 60 Minutes." and tells us that the grenade found at the Bush rally in the former Soviet republic of Georgia - was live!
The Volokh Conspiracy has the scoop on the NYT and filibusters - then and now. And Wizbang says that months of hemming and hawing are coming to a close and that the Senate is going to decide on the filibuster issue.

Mustang (in Iraq) at Assumption of Command has a Neat Story! BlackFive asks what is the fixation of some of the MSM to run over troops or people and push phony stories? Blogs of War has a spoof of "Is this the way to Amarillo" by British soldiers in Iraq and is so popular (and large) that it's crashing Ministry of Defense computers. And Chester writes on pseudo-events, enemy war propaganda, and the relationship of both to the mass press.
