American MSM Ignores The "Iranian Regime Severs The Heads Of It's Citizens" Story And Instead Works Up A Frenzy Over A "Koran In The Toilet" Story! One Would Save Lives, The Other Costs Lives! (Updated)
Topics: Understanding IslamWhile the Islamofacists of Iran, like the terrorists they support, are torturing and murdering their own people, the American left-wing media focused on a "koran in the toilet," Sadaam in his underwear(my God, we invaded poor Sadaam's privacy),and isolated instances of "prisoner abuse" that pale in comparison to what the Islamists are doing in Iraq, and especially, Iran!
Bloggers, please help get this story out - lives are being lost and blogs are the only way the Iranian people can get their message out to the world.
While Newsweek, the NY Times, and other national media concern themselves with acts of "prisoner abuse" at Guantanamo Bay, Afghanistan, and elsewhere by our military, and is constantly on the hunt for whatever they can find to discredit our military, our nation, and the administration, they ignore the murderous, inhumane, cruel, and incomprehensible acts of "real" terror committed by Islamic regimes,insurgents, and terrorists, in Iraq, and elsewhere.
They are more concerned with a koran in the toilet than a head on the ground(with no body attached to it)!
Paul at Powerline wrote yesterday of Diana West's arguement that "Koran-gate" is more about "them" (bloodthirsty jihadists) than about "us" (a media too eager to do a "gotcha" on our government). Powerline notes that her point is well-taken, although he'd express it differently. To him, the story is about the confluence of two sad realities -- the MSM feels compelled to make our government look bad; the Islamofascists feel compelled to take innocent life. He suggests that neither compulsion is healthy, but only the latter is psychopathic. He continues with a reference to Austin Bay's calls on Newsweek to abandon the Nixon-Vietnam reporting template and recognize that there's a war going on -- a 21st century war -- with American lives at stake.
While I agree with much of Paul's post, I find that it falls far short of pointing to the magnitude of the problem and the extent of the participants in the media-left's agenda to discredit America, our country, in a time of war. However, more importantly, it is a time during which the battle is over our continued existence as a nation free from sharia, and in that regard, our way of life, and that of our children.
Through it's continuous efforts to discredit our country and it's open willingness to help our enemies, the MSM has taken the "Nixon-Vietnam reporting template" to a ridiculous, treacherous, and traitorous extreme. They are aiding the causes of the Islamists who wish to instill sharia law on you and I, while ignoring the desperate plight of those already living under it.
Let's take a look at what the MSM is giving a pass in favor of reporting on a" Koran in the toilet" story, which just happens to be an example of sharia law and life under the murderous Islamic regime - Iran, and ask yourself if the koran in the toilet or "prisoner abuse" by our military during war, compares, in any way whatsoever, TO THIS(warning - very graphic images):
Not only do the authorities in Iran torture and slaughter those who do not strictly adhere to their agenda, they take a perverse and ghoulish pleasure in their efforts. They brag about the suffering they inflict, they boast about stepping on the lifeless heads of their victims.
These are not civil servants doing their duty to enforce the national laws. They are sadists who lust after the power to hold other human beings in their grasp, and dismember them for pleasure. They smile as they hold the severed heads of their victims, blood still dripping from the gaping necks, while their comrades take a pictures of them with their trophies.
The legacy reporters of the west do not just hide this information, they distort it. They describe the fanatics who commit these atrocities as "freedom fighters" or "insurgents." They prattle on about the possible embarrassment of nude prisoners or the alleged desecration of a holy book while innocents are having their heads hacked off slowly with a dull knife. The western press has lost all sense of proportion.
Young proponents of freedom within Iran are risking, not only their lives, but the unspeakable agony that precedes death at the hands of the ruling theocrats. Faced with the likelihood of being slaughtered as depicted in these images, they have the courage to obtain this evidence and smuggle it out of Iran. To its everlasting shame, the mainstream media in the western world is failing them.
As a matter of principle, the existence of such pure evil anywhere in the world is of consequence to all of us. And those living in the west should not feel complacent because these images come from a country on the other side of the globe. Exactly the same kind of Islamic execution has already occurred multiple times within the continental United States, and the authorities and the press have conspired to suppress the story.
